How to Run a Daily Stand-Up Meeting

In this video

The most common meeting in your organization should be the shortest.

A daily stand-up should be around 15 minutes, and consist of three areas:

  1. Priorities (What are the top three things you’re doing today?)
  2. Company KPIs (What are the key metrics for the company? How are we doing as an organization?)
  3. Rocks (What are you going to stub your toe on in the next 24 hours)

It should be right at the start of your work day and involve as much of the company as practically viable. One of the benefits of daily stand-up is the cross-culture communication. Your team will feel like a team if they all start their day together.
