Working IN a system is very different than working ON a system.
Business owners have to do both of these things simultaneously.
But if they want to grow and scale, they need to spend more time doing the latter instead of the former.
Think about it: working IN a system keeps it running. It produces results. But working ON a system produces new systems, which you can use to make more money. You can build new systems to create new products and/or services. You can work on current systems to improve their efficiency.
Either way, the result should be that you’re making more money than before without being the one directly doing the work in that system. Build systems. Hire staff to run those systems. Build more systems. Tired of hearing the word “system” yet?
