I’ve had a lot of experience with being unhappy with the status quo.
If you’re any kind of visionary, you’ll know what I mean. Where others can get complacent, we’re always trying to improve.
Where others will say it’s “good enough,” we’re trying to perfect it. It’s that kind of attitude that gives us our drive…but it can also handicap us if we’re not careful.
Rather than letting your dissatisfaction run rampant, you should prioritize it. Of all the things that are annoying you, there’s one that’s more important to deal with than all the others.
And you’ll probably find that it’s holding back your business, too.
All you need to do then is make steady, incremental progress in solving that constraint, problem, challenge … whatever it may be.
It’s going to take time, and you need to be persistent and patient to deal with it. You’re never going to run out of things to be dissatisfied about … but if you learn how to use that feeling to hook into what’s holding you and your business back, it’s the best tool for growth there is.
