It is impossible to know the priorities of your business unless you know every task in that business.
Each and every business owner needs to have some kind of system in which they keep track of everything that goes on in their business. This is necessary because, when you go to figure out what’s important to work on, you need to know all available things you have to work on!
Failing to do this means you’re just working the highest priority you THINK you have, as opposed to working the highest priority you KNOW you have.
This is where laps come into play. They’re instrumental in making you and your team are on top of all of the many, many tasks that exist in your business. If you’re not managing your work, it’s going to manage you.
