As you guys know, I spent the weekend with my good friend/mentor/coach/great guy Dr. Nima Rahmany. One of the things I took away from the weekend was the power of feeling into your affirmations.
Regular viewers know I gave advice similar to this in Daily Genius 65, and I’m going to keep repeating myself because we manifest our reality based on who we ARE, not what we WANT – and who we ARE is rooted in our feelings.
Our feelings are a result of our thoughts and our beliefs. We think something – we collect evidence in our reality to support the story we have made up about ourselves – and in that way, we lead ourselves back to the same self-reinforcing feelings, because here’s the thing: YOU LIKE THEM. You LIKE feeling anxious.
You LIKE feeling upset. You FIND evidence for what you believe, and the ONLY way to shift who you’re BEING is to FEEL differently.
That’s why it’s critical to identify the thoughts that lead to your feelings, honor them, and then begin to transform them over time by consciously connecting NEW thoughts with the feelings in your body and giving yourself permission to BE the person you (incorrectly) think can only exist in the future. Make the future present. Hold a vision and feel into it every day.
