You can always do things better. That isn’t to say that nothing is ever good enough, but it is important to be able to look at anything you’ve done or anything you’re doing and identify how it can be done better. One of the ways we do that at Measurable Genius is by identifying rocks. Every day, I encourage our employees to share what’s stopping them from doing their job to the best of their ability.
Rocks are a natural part of doing anything. But if you’re quiet about them, you won’t make any progress. The reason we share rocks at our daily standup is that everyone gets a chance to help solve them. That collaborative atmosphere is essential to a successful business. Even I can’t solve every problem myself.
On today’s show, I explain my philosophy about rocks with the company, Jen and Jamie travel to Hearth and Home, and Warren shows off a blooper reel and his packing ability.
