A growing business is not a happy business.
Let me throw a hypothetical at you: let’s say you did a webinar tomorrow, and by some miracle, you booked 100 sales calls. How would you feel about that?
Pretty good, right? After all, that’s a lot of potential revenue!
But that’s only one way of looking at it. And if you’re not prepared for the downside of those 100 sales calls, you’re going to suffer dramatically as you try and contort and twist your life to meet your new reality.
Family time? Nope, sales calls.
Perform necessary marketing activities? Nope, gotta fulfill your services for all your new clients.
Vacation? Nope, you’ve got 1-on-1 coaching sessions daily and group calls weekly that you are now obligated to attend.
The point is, growing your business doesn’t mean things get easier. Things grow much harder and much more difficult the bigger you get. Complexity emerges and processes & procedures must be put in place and standardized.
Growing a business is suffering. And on this episode of Incremental Progress, I’m going to show you what you can do to minimize that suffering.
