There’s a certain obsession people have for fixing other people.
It’s something we’re all guilty of.
However, by trying to fix other people, by trying to manage them instead of embracing them, you’re not helping as much as you think.
When someone, whether it be an employee or your significant other, complains to you, instead of trying to “fix” their problem, try listening.
Try being patient.
Try holding space for them.
You’d be surprised at what can happen when you stop trying to fix people and let them be themselves.
Of course, that doesn’t mean you become a doormat, either.
On this episode, the MAPS crew and I discuss Think and Grow Rich, stress, and holding space.
