If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Would you invest it into your business? Buy a nice house for your family? Show it off with a fancy car?
You’re going to hear a couple of voices pop up. The first voice will say “Oh, cool. Maybe I can finally take that vacation to the Bahamas I always wanted.” And then, almost immediately, another voice will chime in. “No, I should actually invest it into my business. That’s what I ought to do.”
Which of those voices are you going to listen to?
I know this with complete certainty: listening to that second voice could be a catastrophic mistake that ends up making you miserable.
It’s because that second voice isn’t yours at all; it’s the voice of a Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk that’s telling you that your business should be the top priority in your life… when it’s entirely possible that it isn’t.
The voice that must be given priority is YOUR voice. Not role models, not your parents, not your friends, not even mine.
Learn how to find yours on this week’s episode of Incremental Progress.
